Justification

Ritalin is critical central nervous system stimulant. This drug affects certain chemical substances i………………der (Wegmann, 2012). 

Wellbutrin is an antidepressant drug applied to cure major depressive disorders in adults. The safety of this drug in children aged below 18 years is not established (Dulcan, Ballard & Cummins, 2015). On the other hand, Intuniv is a non-stimulant d…………………an the other alternatives (Hales & Kupfer, 2014).

Expectations

First of all, I expected a considerable improvement or rather a notable difference in what was reported before the treatment. At the introduction of Ritalin, the patient sh…………………….ported problems 

Deviations

There was a slight correspondence between the expectations and the outcomes. When the patient visited the facilitated four weeks later, it was reported that she had im………………………….eaming and staring into space. As such, further medical interventions were necessary.

Decision #2

Results from decision #1 demanded further interventions to address the problem completely. Of the various available options, I chose to begin a new dose of Ritalin LA 2………………….rded initially.

Justification

From the medical examination, the patient was experiencing a number of symptoms including forgetf………………………..e has taken the same medication before and it has proved to be effective.

Continuing the same dosage of Ritalin is not recommendable especially considering that the patient h……………………g interactions. Besides, Adderall is not recommended for patient with heart problems such as Katie (Hinshaw & Scheffler, 2014).

Expectations

First of all, I expected improvement on the heartbeat and attentiveness especially in the aft…………………………..rk was also expected to improve.          

Deviations

The results of this decision exceeded expectations.  After 28 days of Ritalin LA……………………………ed to keep the patient normally functioning throughout the day

Since there were no persistent symptoms,maintaining the current dosage of Rit………………………………….gly.

Justification

Change of medication is always recommendable when the current prescription is not pr……………………ormal. Besides, the patient is still on medication which is likely to improve the heart rate further.

Expectations

Since a higher dose of Ritalin has proved to be effective, continued adminis…………………….……………tie would lead a normal life.
