Technology improved with access to information through the internet, industries adopting technology in production, services and product competition internationally, business transactions simplified and Mexican immigrants could contact their families back at home through social media.

            Nevertheless, nothing comes without a cost, for the globalization in Mexico had some negative effects. Rural areas were neglected while Northern Mexico was getting more developed. This led to the widening of gap between the rich and poor (Michael 145). The poor labour conditions led to NAFTA affecting the Mexican maize farmers due to an influx of imported cheap maize from United States, hence they could not compete. Extensively, their source of income reduced, poverty rose due to lack of income and forced migration (Gordon 10). Lastly, the major one being drug trafficking which has led to many deaths, political instability and economic boycott (Raymond et al. 69).

A supranational organization like NAFTA had an agreement between Mexico, Canada and United States which created a trilateral trade bloc in Northern America that aimed at promoting free trade, regulate goods and efficient trade. This created more opportunities, increases trade by eliminating tariffs, environmental protection, and the growth of industries. Imports and exports between member countries, labor which led to employment. Although it had advantages in led to a decline of farm and unjust labor laws.
