This means that you are expected to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the decision making process used in your chosen clinical scenario, using the clinical reasoning cycle. You are also required to incorporate recommendations for improvement based on current research and, if relevant, the National competency standards for the registered nurse.
2. Critically reflect on the decision making process. This means you need to reflect upon your experience of this situation and identify and discuss your reflections on the clinical decisions (you may use a reflection model to guide this process eg Gibbs).
